ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union football team had two talented seniors recognized on the 2025 D3football.com Preseason All-America team.
Senior offensive lineman
Giovanni Kennedy (Avon, OH/St. Edward) and senior defensive end
Kaleb Brown (La Plata, MD/La Plata) both earned First Team honors.
Kennedy, who was named All-America by two organizations last season, anchored the Mount Union offensive line that led the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) in points per game, yards per game, and rushing yards per game.
Brown, who earned All-America honors from D3football.com in 2024, tied for the league lead with a team-high 12.5 sacks. His 18.0 tackles for loss ranked third in the OAC.
Mount Union starts the 2025 season on Saturday, September 6, at home against No. 17 Wheaton College at Kehres Stadium at 1 PM.
