The 2025 season is here. No. 2 nationally ranked Mount Union will start its 128th season on Saturday, September 6, against No. 17 Wheaton College at Kehres Stadium. It's been 18 years since the programs played each other, with the Purple Raiders winning 45-24 on December 13, 2008, in the 2008 NCAA Semifinals. Mount Union went on to win its 10th National Championship following a 31-26 win over Wisconsin-Whitewater in the 2008 Stagg Bowl. The game marks the first regular season matchup between the two programs. The Raiders are 6-0 all-time vs. Wheaton, with all six meetings being played at home and all six being in the NCAA Playoffs. Their first meeting was on November 25, 1995 (40 - 14).
