FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Mount Union women's wrestling team represented well at the two-day Warrior Open, hosted by Indiana Tech, which was wrapped up on Saturday.

In the Open Division, freshman Abigail Mozden (Alliance, OH / Alliance) won 131, as she went 4-0. Sophomore Emma Hanrahan (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe) finished runner-up at 160 and junior Lyndsee Young (Mansfield, OH / Madison Comprehensive) placed fourth at 207. 

In the Freshman/Sophomore Division, freshman Gabrielle Gartin (Alliance, OH / Chippewa) won at 124, freshman Lori Grimes (Raymond, OH / Marysville) won at 180, and freshman Allison Ott (Tiffin, OH / Tiffin Calvert) won at 207. Freshman Molly Luebke (Brookville, OH / Brookville) placed third at 117. 

Additionally, freshman Addison Lyon (Marysville, OH / Marysville) placed sixth, freshman Nadira Matlock (Warren, OH / Austintown Fitch) finished seventh, freshman Addison Paparella (East Palestine, OH / East Palestine) placed seventh, and freshman Brooklyn Madal (Cleveland, OH / Normandy) placed eighth. 

Mount Union will next compete at the John Carroll Open on Sunday, Feb. 1.
