Haylee Handrahan (Hilliard / Hilliard Darby) and sophomore
Mae Pawlikowski (Orchard Park, N.Y.) have swept the Ohio Athletic Conference Weekly Awards (4/20).
Handrahan was named the Offensive Player of the Week after scoring 11 goals on just 15 shots while adding three assists as well. Handrahan scored five in the 20-9 win over Otterbein and then outscored Ohio Northern by herself, 6-5 as Mount Union won the game 16-5.
Pawlikowski was named the Defensive Player of the Week, finishing the week with 7 total turnovers and 5 ground balls. She also added 6 goals and one assist with Mount Union beating Otterbein 20-9 and Ohio Northern 16-5, which clinched the No. 1 seed in the OAC Tournament for the Purple Raiders.
This is the second time this season and in her career that Handrahan has won the award and this is the first time this season and in her career that Pawlikowski has won the award.
