WESTERVILLE, Ohio—Mount Union sophomore outside hitter Zoe Sweigart (Canal Winchester) was named the women's volleyball offensive player of the week for the Ohio Athletic Conference announced Monday afternoon (9/28).
 
Sweigart led the Purple Raiders to a 4-0 week moving their win streak to 12 straight.
 
This week Sweigart had 47 kills and 12 digs this week averaging 3.62 kills per set. In a win against Eastern Sweigart finished with 16 kills and had a hitting percentage of .333.
 
This is the first award this season and second in Sweigart's career. This is the second offensive award this season for Mount Union as Ava Bolen received it earlier this year.
